Lexgard® GC70 Natural MB is manufactured by the esterification of glycerin and caprylic acid. The ester is washed, filtered, and then packaged.

- Glyceryl Caprylate is derived from the esterification of caprylic acid with glycerin (both derived from either coconut oil and/or RSPO palm kernel oil, sourced from South East Asia; Malaysia/Indonesia).

- Principal Uses
- Lexgard® GC70 Natural MB is a multi-functional emollient, co-emulsifier, skin re-fatting, and antimicrobial boosting agent.
- Lexgard® GC70 Natural MB should be incorporated in the water phase at any point during the emulsification process.
- The antimicrobial effect of Lexgard® GC70 Natural MB may be affected by high levels of anionic surfactants and a higher use level may be required.
- Most formulations made with Lexgard® GC70 Natural MB may not be well-suited to clear/transparent formulations, such formulations may appear hazy or translucent depending on the formula composition.

Conflicts Mineral statement
Based on currently available information, INOLEX does not source raw materials from Democratic Republic of the Congo and its adjoining countries. Lexgard® Natural GC70 MB does not require the use of “Conflict Minerals” in the manufacturing process. A “Conflict Mineral” is considered to be any of the following minerals or their derivatives originating in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (the “DRC”) or any of the adjoining countries with which the DRC shares a recognized international border:

Genetic Modification Statement
- The product does not contain genetically modified material. The starting raw materials do not intentionally include genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and no GMO materials are introduced during the manufacturing process.

Based on the review of the raw materials and the manufacturing process, the product meets the following Kosher requirements:

Palm Status
- Lexgard® GC70 Natural MB contains RSPO palm derivatives.
- INOLEX is a member of, and supports the principles of, the Round Table for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and RSPO efforts to encourage and certify sustainable palm oil production practices. INOLEX procures goods from suppliers that are members of the RSPO in those instances when raw materials may contain palm products. INOLEX provides any product that is derived from palm as Mass Balanced.
Pesticide Statement
- The product is not expected to contain residual pesticides. The starting raw materials are sourced from pesticide-free plants, and no pesticides are introduced during the manufacturing process.

Residual Solvent Statement
- Lexgard® GC70 Natural MB conforms with both the USP <467> and ICH Q3C residual solvent guidelines. INOLEX Inc. assures that, based raw on the raw material composition, the manufacturing, handling, and storage procedures utilized at our plant sites, there is no potential for residual solvents of class 1, 2, or 3 as mentioned in the guidelines for residual solvents (CPMP/ICH/283/95) of the European Pharmacopeia, to be present in Lexgard® GC70 Natural MB.
SVHC Statement
- The product does not contain any Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) under REACH.
VEGAN Statement
- The product is suitable for vegans. It is derived from plant-based sources and does not contain any animal derived ingredients.

Glyceryl Caprylate (CAS #: 26402-26-6) The test substance at 20% w/w was tested on shaved rabbits in a semi-occlusive test at 24, 48, and 72 hours. The test material was found to be a mild irritant to rabbit skin. No corrosive effects were noted.

Storage Conditions
It is recommended that INOLEX, Inc. products be stored in unopened, original containers and be kept indoors.
Recommended Re-Evaluation Date
The recommended re-evaluation date is 36 months from the date of the previous analysis. The recommended re-evaluation date is the time-period in which the product is expected to maintain its initial physical and chemical characteristics from the Date of Manufacture as indicated on the Certificate of Analysis. The recommended re-evaluation date period will be affected by storage conditions such as temperature, humidity, and the environment of the storage area
- Product Storage & Handling
- It is recommended that normal safety precautions be employed when handling Lexgard® GC70 Natural MB.
- Store in original, sealed containers at cool to moderate temperatures (< 35°C) indoors. If solid, heat to 45 - 50°C and mix before use.
- Lexgard® GC70 Natural MB should not be exposed to long periods of heating or product quality could be affected.
