Features & Benefits

Why Grape Seed Rich is Unique
  • 100:1 concentration
  • Only seed extract that closely simulates the same type of phenol composition found in wine because the seeds are fresh seeds from juice production and not solar or oven dried seeds. This method produces a high ratio of polyphenols (10 chain and above).
  • Superior extraction process using water extraction and ultrafiltration and no organic or alcohol solvents.
  • Non GMO grape seed
  • Good value. Easy on the pocketbook while delivering powerful nutritional benefits
  • Extraordinarily safe, even at very high doses

Safety & Health

Health Benefits of GrapeSeedRich’s Polyphenols
  • The proanthocyanidins found in grapeseed extract are powerful antioxidants and free radical scavengers that may protect us from many degenerative diseases including cardiovascular disease.
    • It is well known that reactive oxygen species (ROS) are involved in the onset of cardiovascular conditions such as inflammation, atherosclerosis etc. Oxidative damage to the endothelial cells (that line the inner walls of blood vessels) causes inflammation, hardening of the arteries and cardiovascular disease. A recent study showed that grapeseed oligomeric proanthocyanidins protect vascular endothelial cells from oxidative damage.
  • Grapeseed extract has greater antioxidant effect than vitamins C and E while enhancing the effect of both vitamins.
  • Grapeseed extract strengthens capillary fragility and reduces permeability. Used widely throughout Europe to treat a variety of circulatory disorders including capillary fragility, peripheral chronic venous insufficiency and microangiopathy of the retina.
  • Active ingredients in grapeseed extract may help night vision, and improve visual performance after glare. Grapeseed extract may be useful for people who spend much time in front of video display terminals.
  • One study showed that proanthocyanidins may significantly reduced risk of blood clots. This may be helpful for persons prone to deep vein thrombosis during long airplane flights.
  • The antioxidant properties of Grapeseed extract has piqued the attention of the beauty industry as a method for improving the look of skin. The industry is touting grapeseed extract because it has an astringent-like affect on skin, helpful for clearing away acne, unclogging pores and tightening skin. It seems especially useful around the eye area.
Safety of GrapeSeedRich

Grapeseed extract has been used in Europe for years to treat circulatory disorders. It has been well tolerated and without any important side effects. Oral chronic toxicity tests in rats and dogs show proanthocyanidins to be safe even in high doses with no potential mutagenic and teratogenic effects. Due to lack of studies maximum safe dosages for young children, pregnant or nursing women, or those with severe liver or kidney disease have not been established. Grapeseed proanthocyanidins may have some anticoagulant properties when taken in high doses, and therefore individuals on blood-thinning medication should take them under medical supervision.
