- Natural Gas drying at low pressures and low flow rates can be very difficult. Most conventional salt-type desiccants are not able to adequately dry gas under low pressures (max. 75 psi) or when stringent pipeline specifications (max. 7 lbs./mmscf) must be met.

Xentrite can be used by itself or in combination with other desiccants such as CD 50 and LD 45. In these applications, the gas flows through the CD 50 or LD 45 first removing most of the moisture and then through the Xentrite to further reduce the dew point.
