- INTERCOOL® BIOGREEN heat transfer fluid is an inhibited propylene glycol heat transfer fluid formulated using domestically produced, non-toxic, sustainable bio-based propylene glycol.
- The Biobased propylene glycol used in our INTERCOOL® BIOGREEN is manufactured via a proprietary fermentation process using natural corn sugars verses traditional petroleum-based feedstocks.
- INTERCOOL® BIOGREEN provides better thermal stability in the form of a high maximum high temperature operating range while also providing 30% lower viscosity at low temperatures verses traditional petroleum derived propylene glycol.
- INTERCOOL® BIOGREEN bio-based propylene glycol also provides better overall thermo-physical properties (Thermal Conductivity — Specific Heat) as compared to traditional crude oil based propylene glycol.
- The improved thermo-physical properties of INTERCOOL® BIOGREEN will provide a functional fluid that is more efficient than crude oil based propylene glycol.
- INTERCOOL® BIOGREEN is engineered using organic and inorganic inhibitors designed to provide excellent long term corrosion protection to single or mixed alloy systems.
- The inhibitor package imployed in our INTERCOOL® BIOGREEN has been specially formulated to extend the service life of the coolant.
- INTERCOOL® BIOGREEN pre-blended fluids are blended using deionized water to insure no corrosive or scale promoting elements enter the system.
