Peek-Optima™ Natural LT1 is the foundation polymer of the Peek-Optima product family, features nearly 15 years of implantation, in a diverse range of applications, and successful use in regulatory approved devices. Available in a range of forms, Peek-Optima Natural LT1 delivers a variety of high performance options virtually unmatched in a radiolucent implantable biomaterial.

Peek-Optima™ HA Enhanced is a material enhancement in spinal device technology. Hydroxyapatite (HA), a well-known osteoconductive material, is fully integrated, not coated, within the Peek-OptimaTM matrix, making it available on all surfaces of a device.

PEEK-OPTIMA™ Image Contrast (Low radioactivity) compounds, from Invibio® Biomaterial Solutions, offer implant manufacturers all the benefits of PEEK-OPTIMA polymer, now with tailored radiopacity. These compounds comprise an image contrast additive at specified levels, providing a broad contrast range for optimal visualization with x-ray, CT and MRI imaging modalities PEEK-OPTIMA image contrast grades are safe, biocompatible materials intended for implantable medical and pharmaceutical devices and applications requiring blood, bone or tissue contact of more than 30 days.

PEEK-OPTIMA™ Reinforced offers the benefits of unfilled PEEK-OPTIMA with the added advantage of greater mechanical strength and enhanced creep resistance. Additionally, it is a true structural polymer that offers improved wear performance over UHMWPE in articulating joints against various counterfaces. The compound is composed of short carbon fibers dispersed within a PEEK-OPTIMA polymer matrix. The resulting material has enhanced mechanical and physical properties for more demanding, load-bearing implants and applications requiring blood, bone or tissue contact of more than 30 days.

PEEK-OPTIMA™ Ultra-Reinforced polymer combines our high performance polymer, PEEK-OPTIMA™ Natural, with multiple layers of carbon fiber for tailored stiffness and flexible fixation.

Peek-Optima™ Wear Performance G is specifically designed to meet the critical demands of orthopedic joint arthroplasty. The polymer combines the material properties of Peek-OptimaTM Natural with carbon fiber technology to provide superior wear resistance against hard counter surfaces, such as metal and ceramic.
