Meso-zeaxanthin is recommended as a food supplement to provide necessary amounts of this important carotenoid for human health and function. We obtain very little of this carotenoid from a standard diet; however, Meso-zeaxanthin is the most essential carotenoid at the macular. Patients with Age-related Macular Degeneration are deficient in Meso-zeaxanthin and need to obtain it from a supplement formulation.
- Recommendations
Store in pouches or closed pails, in a cool dry place with no direct sunlight or heat exposure; preferably store in cool room temperature (20-25°C). Shelf life is over 24 months in original unopened container. Once opened use contents quickly.
