Applications and Suggested Usage

T-I 60K is used as an emulsifier and stabilizer in a wide range of food and personal care applications and is especially effective at forming stable emulsions when combined with sorbitan esters such as S-I 60K (sorbitan monostearate). Applications where T-I 60K may be used include:

  • Cakes and cake mixes
  • Aeration aid for whipped toppings
  • Icings, frostings, and fillings
  • Bloom retardant for chocolates and confections
  • Coffee whiteners
  • Wax emulsions for fruit coatings
