E-Z TURN Faucet and Valve Heat Proof Grease can be used for lubricating valve stems of faucets, valves, ballcocks, plungers, packings, washers, disk brakes and wheel bearings, ball joints, u-joints, chassis, bearing, couplers, and many other automotive, industrial and commercial applications. This grease is ideally suited for wheel bearings for both conventional breaks as well as disk brakes, where the heat would cause conventional lithium greases to melt and run out. It can be used on potable water since it is safe and nontoxic.
- Direction for Use
VALVE BODIES:
- Unscrew valve bonnet nut.
- Rotate valve stem counter clockwise to remove the valve body
- Clean stem and threads if necessary
- Apply a liberal amount of E-Z TURN to the stem and stem threads
- Reassemble in reverse order. Tighten bonnet nut lightly. Retighten if there is seepage when system pressure is restored
BALLCOCK AND FLOAT LINKAGES:
- Clean and descale if necessary
- Apply liberal amounts of E-Z TURN to all rubbing and pivoting surfaces
- Apply a thin film of E-Z TURN to all metal parts in contact with water to prevent corrosion and scale build up
- Apply E-Z TURN to float linkage threads to prevent corrosion
