About Us

Kalmatron® Corporation is a concrete admixture manufacturer based in South San Francisco, CA. The company was founded by Dr. Alex V. Rusinoff, the inventor of Kalmatron®, in 1994 in the city of Khabarovsk, Russia, and opened its first plant in the United States in 2003. In addition to admixtures, the Kalmatron product line includes primers, concrete regenerative sprays, radiation shielding materials, DCM, EMS, IIW utilization technology, and protective and waterproofing coatings for concrete, wooden and masonry structures. The signature characteristics of Kalmatron concrete are high density (as in 100% waterproof concrete), the complete absence of shrinkage cracks, and increased resistance to environmental and chemical corrosion. Kalmatron is used in a great variety of applications, including road construction and repair; precast, stucco and plaster; production of panels, roof tiles and blocks; construction of parking lots, swimming pools, emergency shelter; domes, agricultural and chemical plant facilities; sewer systems and waste water treatment plants; dams; hazardous waste storage facilities; marinas, piers, and foundation slabs.

KALMATRON® KF-B

KALMATRON® KF-B as a protective and remedial coating penetrating into the concrete structure by at 15 cm or 6” designed for protection of concrete and masonry building structures as an ionic implant onto the structures in damp conditions to restore liquid/vapor impermeability, corrosion and freeze-thaw resistance, to stop rebar rusting and to rebuild structures by gluing of they broken parts. In a case if KF-B layer damaged, protected structure stays impermeable and densified. KF-B is best for repair of water supply and sewer systems; marine and fortification structures; facilities of the chemical and agricultural industries. Applied as a layer, it has no expansion in both the plastic and hardening phases without compensation of water. Layer of KF-B is a water impermeable under the hydraulic pressure at 14 [bar] and stable to aggressive environment at pH of 1.

KALMATRON® KF-H

KALMATRON® KF-H are both primer or finishing cementitious paint and patching material for protection of wooden structures. The 1.5 mm thick layer of KF-H provides a durable coat with highest resistance to atmospheric and biological damage. KF-H is applicable by brush or trowel in dry and damp environments. Provides rock solid abrasion resistance, liquid impermeability, and freeze-thaw resistance. KF-H waterproofs both the negative and positive sides of surfaces.

KALMATRON® KF-JET

KALMATRON® KF-Jet designed as a premix to the dry Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) powder for production of Rapid Set Cement (RSC) and Fast Setting Cement (FSC) with controlled setting time. Distinctive difference from known products is that concrete after application has twice lower drying shrinkage cracks and no construction gap, highest abrasion resistance, impermeable to the liquids, and adjustable hardening time.

K100® Admixture

K100® Admixture is a liquid version of KALMATRON® KF-A as chemically active admixture to cement‐containing mixes that increases the cementitious value and volume of cement paste. K100® functioning as an inorganic oxidizer of micro-metal elements contained in the cementitious materials to provide extension of cement gel surface by decay-hydration of the cement grain from 100 µm to 10 µm. K100® is a cost‐effective solution that provides a transformation of conventional concrete mix to High Performance concrete. K100® makes concrete strong and durable without the need of any other admixture and/or supplement materials or future applications.

KALMATRON® KF-F

Kalmatron® KF-F is a cementitious protective and waterproofing film-thin coating on the concrete/mortar structures also functioning as an antimicrobial agent and metal corrosion passivity coating. KF-F is applicable by spray, roll, trowel, and brash by oil paint technique to get a layer up to 2 mm or 5 /64” thick.

KALMATRON® KF-SEA

KALMATRON® KF-SEA is an admixture to the regular concrete mixes containing unwashed sea-sand and sea- gravel where hydration of cement may be provided with sea- water as well. Gray powder with specific smell. After application the smell disappears. The non-organic cementitious compound discharge electrochemical potential of the most sea-salts that are aggressive to the concrete structure.

KALMATRON® KF-E was developed for application onto wet, damaged and/or aged structures to improve their impermeability and to add decorative color to the surface. Structures that are otherwise irreparable are saved from deterioration by KF-E. KF-E stops mold and mildew, stops and prevents rusting and provides 100% impermeability from most liquids.
