Our recent successful developments have been Water-based Polyurethane dispersions (PUD's). With the introduction of these dispersions, we hope to establish a satisfactory Import Substitute. PUD's are Water-Borne Systems, Eco-Friendly, having all the properties of the Solvent-Based Systems, minus the hazards. PUDs can be formulated to not only make wall coatings but also for the floors which are tough and resilient with scratch resistance and stability."

Kamicryl 2505 is an 100% Acrylic Copolymer used extensively in premium elastomeric high-build, texture and roof coatings.

Kamicryl 5010 Thermoplastic Acrylic Resin is an Co-polymer of various Acrylic Monomers available in free flowing solids and solution form. These are extensively used in the formulation of Lacquers and speciality coatings.

Kamicryl 2077 is an acrylic polymer emulsion for paper, primed foil, and selected specialty substrates. KAMICRYL-2077 is a Rheology Controlled (RC) acrylic polymer emulsion that exhibits superior gloss, transparency, and printability on many porous or primed substrates common to the graphic arts. Additionally, KAMICRYL-2077 provides: film formation, resolubility, block resistance, rub resistance, water resistance, low foaming, high solids, and near Newtonian viscosity. KAMICRYL-2077 is an essential component of overprint varnishes that require gloss, holdout, block resistance, and water spot resistance.

Kamicryl 61 is an 100% Acrylic Emulsion possessing excellent durability, adhesion, gloss and water resistance, designed for the formulation of premium quality exterior masonry paints and textured finishes. Paints based on Kamicryl-61 shows outstanding flow, leveling and film buildup. These properties improvement combined with excellent color acceptance and a high degree of resistance to dirt pickup, make it possible to formulate a wide range of premium paints. It is a surfactant stabilized system.

Kamicryl 76 is an aqueous polymer emulsion specially designed for cementitious compositions. Cement mortars modified with Kamicryl-76 are hard, tough and durable. Compared with unmodified mortars, Kamicryl-76 modified mortars have superior flexural, compressive, adhesive and impact strength, as well as excellent abrasion resistance. They are especially useful where thin sections are desirable and where excessive vibration and heavy traffic are encountered.

Kamicryl 5360 is an acid containing Polyurethane crosslinked Acrylic emulsion copolymer, which when neutralized with a suitable base forms a highly viscous and very efficient thickening medium for a vast range of water based coatings. Kamicryl-5360 being a polyacrylic thickner gives superior performance than conventional thickners like CMS, HEC. Storage stability of paint with Kamicryl-5360 is much superior than with CMS or HEC. If the system contains enough free alkalinity to neutralize Kamicryl-5360 then “Insitu” solubilization and thickening takes place. If no free alkalinity is present then alkali can be added to the system containing Kamicryl-5360 and “in-situ” thickening will occur. Kamicryl-5360 fully neutralizes at a pH approximately 8.0.

Kamicryl 6400 is a low foaming Acrylic Dispersant in solution form and is ideal for dispersing a variety of inorganic solids and reactive pigments in water borne systems. It is especially useful in systems involving dispersions of inorganic solids, such as titanium dioxide and extenders. It has good dispersing action over a wide pH range and imparts good stability to the emulsion paint. (Max effectiveness : pH 9-10). It is soluble in polar solvents like water and glycerine.

Kamicryl 3045 is an Acrylic Copolymer Emulsion of fine particle size, free of plasticizer and solvent. Kamicryl-3045 has good film forming and binding properties, with excellent resistance towards alkalis and water. This emulsion has been specially formulated for use in low-priced interior distemper paints and exterior emulsion or tex-paints. At an economical price, it can bring about dramatic improvement in the quality of these cheap paints. This emulsion can take upto 85-90 % pigment loading with good wet scrub resistance.

Kamicryl 2089 is a styrene acrylic copolymer emulsion for inks and overprints on paper and paperboard. KAMICRYL-2089 is a non film forming Rheology Controlled (RC) letdown emulsion that provides excellent gloss and hold out in formulations for paper and paperboard. KAMICRYL-2089 can be used to formulate high performance inks and overprints. By varying the concentration of KAMICRYL-2089, the formulator is able to adapt the drying speed of the formula to meet press requirements while producing sharp line work and precise process dots.
