- Surface Preparations
All surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, dirt, loose paint or other foreign matter prior to application. Recommended application temperature is 40°F to 120°F. Repair all blisters, breaks and cracks with 19 Ultra Rubberized Flashing Cement and 31 Fiberglass Membrane or 34 Asphalt Saturated Cotton Fabric.
- Application
220 Fibered Emulsion Coating is easily applied by brush or spray equipment. Apply 220 Fibered Emulsion Coating in one coat. If applying two coats, allow the first coat to dry. Coating should be continuous and free of pinholes and holidays. Cover all slots, joints and grooves and apply into all chases and corners. BRUSH APPLICATION 220 Fibered Emulsion Coating is easily applied with a wide fiber roof brush using wide even strokes, flowing the coating on the surface to obtain a smooth and uniform film. SPRAY APPLICATION 220 Fibered Emulsion Coating may be easily and efficiently spray applied on large areas with a standard heavy-duty airless spray unit. Utilize a standard heavy-duty airless spray pump using heavy duty guns and nozzles. Equipment manufacturer should be consulted for more complete information
