Each package and packaging must bear the following information in letters grouped on the same side, legible, indelible and visible from the outside:

(a) The name of the food stuff

(b) The list of ingredients

(c) Any ingredient or processing aid listed in Annex II or derived from a substance or product listed in Annex II causing allergies or intolerances, used in the manufacture or preparation of a food and still present in the finished product even in modified form.

(d) The quantity of certain ingredients or categories of ingredients.

(e) The net quantity of the food.

( f) The date of minimum durability or the use-by date.

Technical Details & Test Data

Method of production
Date powder is produced as follows and according to good production practices: They are picked at the appropriate stage of maturity, disinsected and then stored in a cold warehouse. They are then sorted and cleaned so as to eliminate defective units and foreign matter and free from the perianth (cup) dates are pitted, washed to remove debris. They are then dried so as to adjust their water content. Then they are crushed and sieved. The packaged product then passes through a metal detector before being labeled and palletized. Packaged products are stored in a cold store until shipment.

The product meets the requirements of Council Regulation (Euratom) 2016/52 of January 15, 2016 setting the maximum admissible levels of radioactive contamination for food and feed after a nuclear accident or in any other radiological emergency, and repealing Commission Regulation (Euratom) No 3954/87 and Commission Regulations (Euratom) No 944/89 and (Euratom) No 770/90.

Method of Packaging and Delivery
To keep its organoleptic characteristics and freshness, dates must be transported by appropriate means of transport (insulated containers, refrigerated containers, semi-trailers).
Packaging
Date powder must be packaged in such a way as to ensure proper protection of the product. The materials used inside the package and in direct contact with the produce must be new, of food quality, clean and of materials such as to avoid causing any external or internal deterioration in the dates.The date powder is packaged in food grade blue / white sachets en suite in cartons, net weight 5 Kg or 10 Kg in 1 ton per pallet.
