- KEBOCLEAN VP 1201 is a metal cleaning agent containing solvents which can be used as aqueous emulsion in immersion plants as well as in spraying plants.
- It consists of aliphatic hydrocarbons, surfactants and organic corrosion inhibitors.
- To obtain a good degreasing effect as well as protection against corrosion, the quantity of KEBOCLEAN VP 1201 necessary for the preparation of the bath should be added to possibly low-salt water. The bath has to be circulated during the addition of the product.
- Areas of Application
Dipping and spraying systems, storage tanks and pipelines, pipelines.
- Dosing
- The immersion bath should be prepared with 20-100 g/l KEBOCLEAN VP 1201. For the spraying bath we recommend the application of 10-20 g/l KEBOCLEAN VP 1201. The temperature may vary from 20-60°C. The quality of the degreasing will be improved at increasing temperature.
- At the immersion procedure KEBOCLEAN VP 1201 is applicable at the indicated temperature and concentration intervals without any disturbing foam. At the spraying procedure the water for dilution purposes should have a minimum hardness of 1 mol/m³ calcium to avoid the formation of foam.
