As hydrogenated hydrocarbon resins, SUKOREZ are water-white resins produced through the polymerization and hydrogenation of cyclic components. These resins are characterized by their excellent color, heat stability, low odor, excellent solubility and excellent compatibility with various polymers including Ethylene-Vinyl-cetate (EVA), Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene copolymer (SIS), Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene copolymer (SBS) and Amorphous-Poly-Alpha-Olefin (APAO), They are used in hot-melt adhesives (HMA), hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesives for hygiene products (HMPSA), Polypropylene film modifiers and other adhesives. Significantly, SUKOREZ are non-toxic resins, and its demand has been increased continuously due to the high interest quality of life and clean environment.

SUKOREZ

As aromatic hydrocarbon resins, HIKOTACK are high molecular aromatic hydrocarbon resins obtained from the polymerization of unsaturated hydrocarbons such as C9 olefin and diolefin with crude oil generated in the thermal-cracking process of naphtha. HIKOTACK is available in a variety of products with softening points from 90℃ to 160℃ depending on the application. It is used in various adhesives, rubber mixing and processing aids, paint & ink additives, and asphalt additives.

HIKOTACK

As aliphatic hydrocarbon resins, HIKOREZ are thermoplastic resins obtained through the copolymerization of aliphatic olefin and diolefin generated in the thermal-cracking process of naphtha. These resins are characterized by their low odor, bright color excellent heat stability, and high weather resistance in comparison to aromatic hydrocarbon resins. These products perform excellent solubility with most aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbon resins, as well as various organic solvents, and have high compatibility with various elastomers. They are used in adhesive tape, hot-melt adhesives (HMA), hot-melt road marking (HMRM), asphalt additive, tire, and other adhesives.

HIKOREZ

KOPA®-PA6 is the plastic material based on polyamide-6 that is a thermoplastic resin with excellent mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. KOPA® is widely used in the manufacture of automobile and industrial parts.
KOPA®-PA66 is a thermoplastic resin with excellent mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. It finds wide application in the production of automotive. electrical and industrial parts and components.

Kopa

SPESIN® has excellent mechanical, thermal and electric features. SPESIN® is a thermal plastic resin with excellent electric features, and is widely used as major parts in general industries. It is especially widely used in electricity and electronics industries.
KOLON PLASTICS includes no heavy metal, and is providing safer environment-friendly materials to the market by developing environment-friendly non-halogen heat-resistance SPESIN® that does not discharge environment hormones harmful to the human body even when the product is combusted in the case of a fire.

Spesin

KOCETAL® refers to polyacetal resin of a copolymer type, and is a material of an excellent quality with features of excellent anti-friction/anti-wear, chemical-resistance, heat-resisting stability, precise dimensions and molding abilities. It is mainly applied in gear or roller, and is used for various purposes over the fields of cars, office equipment and living materials.

Kocetal

The transparent material "NOPLA®", which is commercialized as PEN-PET copolyester for the first time in Korea. It has excellent heat-resistant, mechanical and transparent feature. Also, this item is the best solution that meets the customers needs since the self-extinguishing is revealed without the additional agent. The same injection molding as general polyesters is available and blow molding is able to be applied due to the high melting point.

Nopla

PolyPhenylene Sulfide (PPS) resin is one kind of SUPER Engineering Plastics beyond the performance of Engineering Plastics. The property of low absorption of the product whose value is close to '0' makes the high quality of the dimension stability after injection with the excellent melt viscosity. Also, its special property of the high and consecutive using temperature and self-extinguishing character extends the range of the usage for the part of the car, electric and electronic industry that require the high heat resistance and the flame resistance.

Kopps

KOPEL® is a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, which is a new engineering thermoplastic elastomer combining the properties of conventional rubber and thermoplastic. Its flexibility and elastic recovery are very similar to rubber, but its processability is much superior to rubber. While its flexibility and elastic recovery are similar to rubber, its mechanical properties, heat resistance, weather resistance and UV stability are far better than the performance of conventional rubber.

Kopel

Kolon Industries SUKOREZ® SU-640 is a white thermoplastic resin obtained from the copolymerization and hydrogenation of C5 aliphatic olefin and diolefin generated in the thermal-depolymerization process of naphtha. This product offers excellent thermal stability and compatibility with various elastomers such as Ethylene-Vinyl-Acetate (EVA) and Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene copolymer (SIS) so this product is used as tackifier resin for hot melt adhesive (HMA) and hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA), as well as polypropylene (PP) modifier. SUKOREZ® SU-640 is water white cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon resin. The major usage are a modifier in blends with polymers for filmic application and tackifier for EVA, SIS, SEBS block copolymers, metallocene polyolefins and APAO.

Kolon Industries Kopa® KN333HI5 is a Polyamide 66 (Nylon 66) product. It can be processed by injection molding and is available in Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, or North America. Applications of Kopa® KN333HI5 include automotive, electrical/electronic applications and engineering/industrial parts. Characteristics includes flame rated RoHS compliant, impact resistant and medium viscosity.
