K-THIO

K-THIO S 30 is a biocide to avoid the microbiological development that causes important damage in the tanning process, such as fur-slip, staining, collagene decrease. K-THIO S 30 can be used in any of the various tanning leather processes like, on pickled skin, soaking, tanning and retanning. K-THIO S 30 is a broad-spectrum microbiocide, specially effective against fungi responsible for molds, whose growth and development is facilitated by factors such as pH moisture and operating temperature, presence of nutritional substances.

K-THIO VG25 is a biocide to prevent the microbiological growth causing significant damage during the tanning process and furriery operations. K-THIO VG25 can be applied during the various tanning leather processes like, on pickled skin, tanning and re-tanning. Also is suitable for conservation of pickled hides and wet blue stocks thanks to its high fungicide power.

K-THIO N 5 is a biocide widely used in tannery to control the development of bacterial flora in the care of leathers during soaking and retanning phase. The utilization of K-THIO N 5 helps to reduce stain on leathers due to unsuitable storage and it guarantees the reduction of problems caused by micro-organisms during the following phases of leather working. It is necessary to remember that storage damages on leathers are often irreversible.
