Solubility

SYLVATAC RE 98 rosin ester is soluble in:

• Aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, like hexane and toluene
• Esters and ketones, such as ethyl acetate and acetone
• Long chain alcohols, such as butanol and pentanol

SYLVATAC RE 98 rosin ester is available in flaked form in multi-wall bags, 50 lb. net or in bulk bags 1000 or 2000 lb. net weight.

Storage & Handling

Storage Recommendation

Although flaked SYLVATAC RE 98 rosin ester provides good shelf stability, prolonged storage, especially at temperatures higher than ambient, should be avoided due to potential effect on performance. When stored at ambient or lower temperature, this product should remain within stated quality specifications for 9 months. It is recommended that SYLVATAC RE 98 rosin ester be stored and transported dry and below 25°C / 77°F. To prevent remassing, keep away from direct sun light or other sources of heat. Product stored or transported at higher temperatures should be evaluated for impact on performance before use.
