KURARAY POVAL™ 200-88KX by Kuraray is a high viscosity group modified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. This grade is water-soluble polymer manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. KURARAY POVAL™ 200-88KX is suitable for use in adhesives.

Kuraray Poval™ 200-88KX SB by Kuraray is polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade with varying degree of polymerization. It is used as a stabilizer for the emulsion polymerization of VAM and as a post additive for emulsion. The emulsion with PVOH provides high viscosity, mechanical stability, film strength and heat resistance. KURARAY POVAL™ 200-88 KX SB is recommended for use in modification of emulsion-, production of paper- and remoistenable adhesives. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation.

KURARAY POVAL™ 28-99 by Kuraray is polyvinyl alcohol. It is a fully saponified, odorless, water-soluble polymer manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It shows varying degree of polymerization and hydrolysis. Its aqueous solution can be added to polymer emulsions already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol which affects the extension of the open time, setting speed and rheology. It exhibits good penetration capacity and good adhesion properties. It offers high cohesion, toughness, low electrostatic charging and re-dissolving capacity of the dried film in water. KURARAY POVAL™ 28-99 is designed for pressure sensitive adhesive labels. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC.

KURARAY POVAL™ LM 30 by Kuraray is an ultra-low saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It can be self-dispersed into water with agitation. KURARAY POVAL™ LM 30 is designed for use in hot-melt adhesives. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation. The recommended storage life of this grade is 1 year.

KURARAY POVAL™ 50-92 by Kuraray is a polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. Exhibits water-solubility, high tensile strength, elasticity, dispersing power and resistance against organic solvents. Offers high bonding strength and good barrier properties. KURARAY POVAL™ 50-92 is suitable for use in adhesives.

KURARAY POVAL™ LM-25 is an ultra-low saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It can be self-dispersed into water with agitation. KURARAY POVAL™ LM-25 is recommended for use in hot-melt adhesives. Its shelf life is 1 year. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation.

KURARAY POVAL™ 3-85 S4 by Kuraray is a water-soluble, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It exhibits high molecular weight and good cohesion. It possesses good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. It provides extension of the open time, increase of the setting speed and influence on the rheology. KURARAY POVAL™ 3-85 S4 is recommended for the modification of emulsion adhesives.

KURARAY POVAL™ 23-88 CM by Kuraray is polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade modified with cationic monomer. It exhibits good affinity to cellulose such as pulp & cotton and high adhesion strength to hydrophobic substances. KURARAY POVAL™ 23-88 CM is recommended for use in adhesives.

KURARAY POVAL™ 8-88 S2 by Kuraray is a water soluble, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. Exhibits high molecular weight, good cohesion, good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. It provides extension of the open time, increase of the setting speed and influence on the rheology. KURARAY POVAL™ 8-88 S2 is recommended for the modification of emulsion adhesives.

KURARAY POVAL™ 17-94 NA by Kuraray is a water-soluble, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) fully saponified grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It exhibits high molecular weight, good cohesion, good adhesion to fibers-, fillers- and pigments. It affects the extension of the open time, increase of the setting speed and influence on the rheology. It is biodegradable and recyclable. KURARAY POVAL™ 17-94 NA is used in producing silicon base paper that are further used as release paper for PSA labels and also in remoistenable adhesives which are employed mainly in the paper processing industry, films applications.

KURARAY POVAL™ 17-94 by Kuraray is a water-soluble, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) defoamed grade manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It exhibits high molecular weight, good cohesion, good adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. KURARAY POVAL™ 17-94 is recommended for the modification of emulsion adhesives.

KURARAY POVAL™ 13-88 by Kuraray is a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It is suitable for modification of emulsion adhesives and remoistenable adhesives in the paper processing industry. It exhibits good cohesion and adhesion to fibers, fillers and pigments. It offers good bonding strength and pigment binding capacity. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ 13-88 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology.

KURARAY POVAL™ 32-97 KL by Kuraray is a modified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade with varying degrees of polymerization, hydrolysis and co-monomers. The carboxylate polymer exhibits strong hydrophilic property even at low degree of hydrolysis. Films produced from this grade are soft and flexible at 20°C, 65% RH and under high humidity. KURARAY POVAL™ 32-97 KL is recommended for use in adhesives.
