    Compatible Substrates & Surfaces
    Primary Uses
    • Architectural restoration.
    • Urethane Foam and galvanized steel roof-deck weather and waterproofing.
    •  Above grade masonry damp proofing.
    • Air-flow management (e.g. in nuclear power facilities and tobacco storage warehouse.
    • Thermal-insulation weather barrier.
    • Protective coating and repairs for single-ply roofing systems.
    • Dust control: Seals joints and seams on conveyors, dust collectors, elevators, and other material handling equipment.
    Application Equipment

Brush: Best results will be achieved using brushes with hog or other animal bristles. Quality nylon-bristle brushes may also be used.

Roller: Pressure fed or hand roller with 1" to 1½" nap cover.

Airless Spray Pump: Graco Bulldog 3:1 No. 221-061 fed by Graco Monarch 5:1 transfer pump No. 206-393

Fluid Hose: 3/8" or ½" ID with ¼" ID whip-end section

    Recommended Substrate Condition

All surface to be coated must be clean, dry and free of dirt, oil, grease, mildew, rust, wax, chalking or peeling coating and any foreign matter which could prevent proper adhesion. Never apply to surfaces which pond water.

    Viscosity

L&L 300 Mastic is manufactured in three thixotropic viscosities:

    • "Light" brush, roller & airless spray grade
    • "Standard" brush, roller & airless spray grade
    • Trowel and palm grade

When choosing viscosity range, consider factors such as surface profile and porosity, required film thickness and application methods.
