EMARUST®LCI-1 is designed for the water based formulations devoted to the application on metal substrates, such as :
- anticorrosive primers
- Direct To Metal (DTM) paints
- clear varnishes
- paints and clear varnishes : from 2 to 4% based on the total weight
EMARUST ® LCI-1 compatibility must be systematically checked before use in a paint or varnish formulation.
Post-addition is the simplest option. If EMARUST ® LCI-1 causes some aggregates at this stage, we recommend to disperse with a high speed, for example at the end of the pigment grind.
EMARUST ®LCI-1 can release an odor specific to its composition, even in the dry film, for a prolonged period of time.
From one batch to another, or when aging, EMARUST ® LCI-1 color can become darker. This change does not affect the product’s properties.
