This dry oil with a natural fragrance (bitter almond) is recommended for perfume-free products and provides a smooth and silky feel to the skin. Virgin Prunus Oil is originating from French sourcing, maximizing the value of food by-products, and is approved by Ecocert Greenlife according to the COSMOS Standard.

Product Background

The Virgin Prunus Oil is obtained from the first cold pressing of plum stone kernels. This unique and exclusive procedure creates added value to Agen plum production. Laboratoires Expanscience also helps stimulate the local economy and form part of an approach to enhance the value of local products.

Virgin Prunus Oil is an oleic oil (70% oleic acid) with 20% linoleic acid from the omega 6 family. This oil has a unique fragrance and is particularly recommended for the formulation of “perfume-free” products.

• Recommended formulation temperature: up to 70 – 80°C

• Storage conditions: Storage between 15°C and 25°C, under nitrogen, away from light and moisture
