- Microemulsions as opposed to macroemulsions give emulsions of very small particle size and very good stability. Typically when a microemulsion is achieved the end product is a clear solution which sometimes has a slight bloom. One main advantage of microemulsions is that they are easily dilutable to the required concentration.
- This product has been developed to give good micro-emulsions for synthetic pyrethroids such as cypermethrin. A typical production method would to be :
- Cpermetherin : 10
- ME100 : 25
- Water : 65
- Simply add all components and add water slowly while mixing. The same levels can be used for Permetherin, Fenvalerate and zetacypermetherin.
- The advantges are :
- Easily dilutable to required strength
- No VOC
- High flash point

Storage & Handling
- Storage Information
Stainless steel, polyethylene or glass lined equipment is necessary for the storage of Agrosurf ME100 in order to prevent corrosion and subsequent contamination. This material can separate on standing and at low temperatures. May require agitation and warming prior to use.
