OPTILITH

Pinerez® tackifier resins are recommended to enhance the adhesive performance in Hot melt and solvent-based adhesive applications. They are stabilized, light-colored resins with excellent viscosity stability, and have excellent compatibility with a range of polymers that are widely used in packaging and pressure-sensitive adhesives.These polymers include EVA, SIS, and SBS block copolymers, natural and synthetic rubber, and acrylics. Low VOC Pinerez products provide performance value in water-based, solvent-free flooring adhesives.

Pineclear 4306 is used in Specialty coatings and Thermoplastic applications. Very low color, stabilized rosin for enhanced heat stability. It provides excellent adhesion and high bio-renewable content.

Filtrez™ 531 A is an alcohol soluble fumaric acid modified rosin ester with a high softening point and moderately high acid value. Filtrez™ 531 A can be used in solvent and water-based flexographic and in gravure inks. This resin can also be used as a leveling and gloss-promoting agent in floor polishes.

ECO-REZ™ 9715 A is a medium structured, low aliphatic soluble rosin resin suitable for all offset inks, including heatset, sheetfed and coldset applications. Unlike older generations of phenol free resins, ECO-REZ 9715 A provides a new level of performance enabling offset inks to be completely formulated with greener and more sustainable chemistry. The technical benefits equal the environmental enhancements. This new family of ECO-REZ products provides outstanding rheological stability, water balance stability, and sharp print image during high speed and long press runs.

Filtrez™ 530 A is an alcohol soluble fumaric acid modified rosin ester with a high softening point and high acid value. Filtrez 530 A has good solubility and low viscosity in alcohol and aqueous ammonia solutions, which contributes to high gloss in overprint varnishes. This resin is commonly used in solvent and water-based gravure and flexographic inks. Filtrez 530 A also be used as a leveling and gloss-promoting agent in floor polishes.

Optilith™ AM A is an anti-mist compound. Optilith AM A is a 95% non-volatile, high solids paste. Optilith AM A gives maximum reduction in misting without adversely effecting gloss or ink rheology. Optilith AM A is effective at 0.5 to 3% use levels.

FLEX-REZ™ 1084AS

Optilith™ TRG A quickly reduces the initial tack without “destroying” the rheological properties of ink. Additionally, it flattens the tack curve through added solubility, providing greater tack stability and improved transfer. Optilith TRG A can be used in all oil based offset inks including heatset, sheetfed, web no-heat and other specialty lines.
