Hydro-Rez™ 5614 A is a fumarated rosin ester that is soluble in alcohol and can be dispersed in water using ammonia or morpholine. The high melting point promotes fast solvent release and good leveling properties, and is compatible with shellac and Manila copal resins. Filtrez™ 526 A is an alcohol soluble fumaric acid modified rosin ester. Filtrez 526 A has a low amine requirement due to its low acid value, thereby enhancing faster dry. This resin generates a high viscosity in water, thus allowing for lower resin solids in the final ink, and in this way providing improved economics.

Filtrez™ 3310 A is a maleic modified rosin ester. Filtrez 3310 A is designed for the thermoplastic pavement marking industry, and it allows for less plasticizer in the finished application. Other possible applications include modifying nitrocellulose for lacquer in the coatings industry.
