Exterior Durability

High performance automotive grades of red R2 (PR 254) and yellow Y3 (PY 155) colorants, offer excellent light fastness and weather resistance in the sensitive area of red, yellow and orange colors.

Color Spectrum

ECOTINT® Smart offers a broad coverage of the color spectrum without color gaps due to a careful selection of the 12 core colorants. It is the ideal replacement of many old systems in the market containing APEO & VOC with very low color strength, missing the complete assortment of blue, green, orange and violet shades.

Cost Efficient Color Formulations

ECOTINT® Smart reduces significantly the coloration cost compared to old tinting systems especially when medium to high saturated colors are required, due to optimized tinting strength properties.

Façade Supplement
A supplement of 4 inorganic colorants (PY 184, PB 28, PG 17 & IR Black) highly resistant against UV radiation, alkali and acids extends the product application area
while maintaining a low installation and operational cost. Apart from the 3 inorganic colorants it contains an innovative IR Black that replaces carbon black. This enables the production of medium to strong grey colors that achieve less heat absorption compared to conventional colorants by increasing the Total Solar Reflection (TSR) of the colors.

Canisters stability

ECOTINT® Smart colorants have been tested and approved in the most extreme climatic conditions (tropical climates, deserts and cold zones) exhibiting outstanding long term stability and excellent resistance to drying out.

VOC Content < 1g/l

ECOTINT® Smart colorants are environment friendly with a low VOC content, typically < 1 g/l in accordance with the latest environmental requirements.
Applications: ECOTINT® Smart contains 12 colorants suitable for all types of water based paints, oil alkyds, and wood stains for interior and exterior applications. ECOTINT® Smart also offers a Façade supplement with 4 Inorganic colorants for Exterior paints and plasters and solvent based alkyds epoxie flooring.
