When Libwax - SS is thoroughly mixed with the polymer it greatly improves processing behavior and end-performance by reducing friction and adhesion forces between polymer and
processing equipment and polymer to plymer surfaces.Due to continuous migration a thin film of Libwax - SS is formed on the surface of the finished product. This result in improved flow behavior and better mold release.
The excellent thermal stability (5% weight loss at 3000C) allows very high processing temperatures needed for engineering polymers like nylon. Also in rotomolding applications the thermal stability is advantageous.
