  • Libranol RDG-LA is a Rapeseed Oil based non-ionic surfactant with low free Diethanolamide which is compatible with most surfactant types. It is used within Personal Care products such as shampoos, conditioners and water free soaps and within Household products, such as in fabric conditioners due to its foam boosting/ stabilizing and viscosity modifying effects when used with ether sulfates and other anionic surfactants. Within Industrial and Institutional cleaning products
  • Libranol RDG-LA has anticorrosive and degreasing properties and it is used in aqueous emulsions for metal cutting and non-corrosive metal working fluids. Typical usage levels in rinse off cosmetics are 2 – 6%.
  • Libranol RDG-LA is also an excellent solubilising agent for perfumes and essential oils.

Storage and Shelf Life Conditions
  • Libranol RDG-LA can be stored outside. Below 0°C it will become a viscous gel and may start to solidify.
  • Gentle warming to 20 – 30°C, with mixing if possible, will bring the product back to a homogeneous liquid.
  • Try to avoid heating to above 40°C.
  • Shelf life is 24 months
