Libraphos L66 is a clear yellow liquid that consists of the potassium salt of the monoester of ethoxylated phenol. This anionic product exhibits excellent solubility in water and compatibility with other anionic and nonionic surfactants. Libraphos L66 is well-suited for use in alkaline systems and at high temperatures. Its primary application is as a hydrotrope for highly built systems, and it is particularly recommended for solubilizing low-foam surfactants in such formulations.

Storage & Handling

Storage and Shelf Life Conditions
  • Always ensure that Libraphos L66 is homogeneous before use. Any loss of water through evaporation could result in Libraphos L66 becoming cloudy and non-homogeneous as the product active increases.
  • It is recommended that product is re-tested after 24 months from manufacture date.
