- Color strength is the characteristic of toning down white or other colors. The higher a color strength is, the more the carbon black will tone it down. Color depth and (theoretically) color strength increase as the size of parts decreases.
- High-quality carbon blacks protect against photo-oxidative degradation. So the finer the carbon black particles are, the better the UV protection is.
- Lifocolor offers polymerically identical black batch carrier systems for all major standard plastics and nearly all major engineering plastics.
- The majority of this black portfolio complies with the current 10/2011 EC regulation on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. Special types are licensed in accordance with FDA requirements.
