Vitamin K2, also known as menaquinone, is known to be an important factor in blood clotting. Besides this, several studies reported vitamin K2 to be important for maintaining bonehealth. Vitamin K2 is usually synthesized by bacteria present in the gut. Small amounts can be directly consumed through animal products like meat, egg yolk and high fat dairy. Our White Label vitamin K2 is packed in liposomes and protected by their phospholipid bilayer coat, making the vitamin more stable. Moreover, in this way the vitamin is protected against the harsh stomach environment, making sure the vitamin reaches the gut in its intact form.
