Luxfer MEL Technologies Zirconium Acetate

Luxfer MEL Technologies Zirconium Acetate is a clear, colorless, mildly acidic solution containing approximately 22% ZrO₂. It is believed to contain neutral hydroxy-bridged zirconium species. This is beneficial for a wide variety of applications such as wax emulsions for waterproofing textile and fabrics, also used as a catalyst as it is great source of concentrated Zr ion and sodium chloride free. It is used for crosslinking and catalysis applications.

    Appearance

    Zirconium Acetate can withstand medium to long term exposure to natural temperature extremes. Precipitates formed due to excess exposure to extreme cold will in most cases readily re-dissolve. Hydrolysis which may result from prolonged high temperature exposure can cause irreversible damage.
