The advantage of these water-swell-able super absorbent polymers is that they can absorb many times their weight in water with nominal or negligible increase in waste volume or weight. Superabsorbent polymers are widely used to solidify a broad variety of aqueous waste waters and sludge. Our Waste Lock® brand Superabsorbent Polymer products are widely known in the environmental remediation industry to treat many types of aqueous wastes. The advantage of these water-swellable superabsorbent polymers is that they can absorb many times their weight yet expand the waste weight or volume by <1%. Since its inception in January of 2000, M² Polymer Technologies’ core business is to supply sorbent solutions for hazardous free liquids in all types of waste. Absorption traps the liquid and contaminants and prevents the migration of toxins into the environment."
