MAC Thin Films

MAC Thin Films, Inc. continues the production of high performance mirror and anti-reflection products using technology and manufacturing platforms originally developed by Optical Coating Laboratory, Inc. The in-line Multi-layer Automatic Coater (MAC), initially deployed in 1970, along with the special large format batch coaters developed for Custom Display applications represent the culmination of continuous technology advancement and manufacturing innovation pioneered by OCLI and continued by JDSU until early 2014. In June, 2014 MAC Thin Films purchased the manufacturing assets of the MAC and Custom Display Product Lines from JDSU and resumed manufacturing shortly thereafter.
