Permits extreme loads with smoother operation and extended protection.
- The molecularly bound MOLY-PTFE solids bond to surfaces and form a protective layer with one of the lowest coefficients of friction on earth. While the blend lubricates, the molybdenum itself can withstand pressures of up to 500,000 pounds per square inch in its solid state, resulting in superior extreme load protection.

- Unlike hydrodynamic lubrication, where high-speeds help form a lubricating wedge, slow speeds require the addition of lubricating solids like our Moly-PTFE blend. This advanced boundary lubrication additive makes Magnalube-GX perfect for all low speed, extreme pressure applications. In addition, these solids help absorb vibration and reduce noise.
Stable in extreme temperatures for maximum reliability.
- Magnalube-GX has a dropping point of 550 Fahrenheit, and the added protection of molybdenum disulfide that will withstand temperatures up to 750°F. This feature provides extra protection for your equipment if the grease is overheated or if a regularly scheduled lubrication interval is missed.
Mechanically/chemically stable with exceptional film strength.
- Magnalube-GX has polymer additives to enhance tackiness, and film strength so that the grease stays where you put it, and provides maximum protection over time. The grease is designed not to splatter or get pressed out when pressure is applied, and will provide maximum protection against shock loads.
Resistance to water prevents rust and corrosion.
- Magnalube-GX forms a lubricating film that resists water and other liquid contamination. In addition to proprietary, anti-corrosion polymers the PTFE in the grease forms a protective film that prevents the chemical reaction necessary for rust and corrosion to occur.

Superior Boundary Lubrication
- Magnalube-GX is specifically designed for applications that require maximum boundary lubrication performance due to high loads and low speeds. This is why we have included a matrix of lubricating solids, such as molybdenum disulfide, PTFE, and other EP additives.
Excellent Adhesion without Loss of Lubricating Performance
- Many greases use tackifying agrents that increase the frictional drag and viscosity of grease, which leads to less efficient equipment operations. Magnalube-GX, however, uses a proprietary matrix of advanced polymers, molybdenum disulfide, and PTFE, so it stays where you put it without getting pressed out, and also maintaining a low frictional drag.
High Film Strength Prevents Metal-on-Metal Contact
- In many extreme pressure applications additives are not enough. That is why we focused on providing maximum film strength in the base oil to ensure that boundary solids are delivered to important areas when necessary.
Noise Reduction
- Many of our customers report that Magnalube-GX is the only lubrication regime that has worked to eliminate noise and dampen vibration on their equipment.

- A standard grease gun cartridge, constructed with the highest durability fiber board available. The cartridge has an optimal fill weight of 14.5 ounces (approximately 400 grams) and is well-labeled for easy identification.

- This 1-pint can is constructed using high quality tin that makes it very durable and allows the grease to store well. The optimal fill-weight is 1 pound (approximately 450) grams.
