Tykote 6160 is a flexible acrylic emulsion designed to provide a good balance of Cobb resistance, OGR, and MVTR properties from coatings made with it. Films and coatings made from Tykote 6160 also have good flexibility. Tykote 6160 demonstrates the ability to be applied via all typical methods used to apply barrier coatings, including rod, blade, and flexo or gravure presses. Rovene 6026 is a styrene-acrylic emulsion polymer that can be formulated in multiple coating and paint applications. It provides a strong film at room temperature for use in low sheen interior flat wall paints. This product allows the formulator to minimize the level of coalescent. Rovene 6026 can also be used in outdoor landscaping coatings due to the adhesion characteristics and compatibility with iron oxide dispersions.

Rovene 4100 is a styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer recommended for use for boxboard coating, in some publication grade papers and in the adhesive industry. Rovene 4100 may be used in adhesive and paper coating applications where FDA clearance is needed. Regulatory Status Detailed FDA 21 CFR compliances are available upon request.

Rovene 6023 is an all acrylic emulsion suggested as a polymer modifier for hydraulic cementitious mixtures for repair, basecoats for EIFS, decorative overlays and tile grouts or mortars. Addition of 5 - 15% (d/d Portland cement) improves flexibility, strength and water resistance. Rovene 6023 in portland cement mixtures results in increased adhesion to most substrates, improved water resistance, increased flexural strength and good resistance to UV light. Rovene 6023 does not contain antifoam. The addition of an effective antifoam is generally required to avoid a high air content in the hydraulic cementitious mixture. Many antifoam products have been found effective at levels of 2.5% wet on wet by mass.

Rovene 4220 is a non-carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion recommended for use in formulations directed at contact or cold seal applications. Rovene 4220 can also be used in architectural adhesives including many types of flooring adhesives and special contact adhesives. Rovene 4220 can be used as a polychloroprene and natural latex extender if properly formulated. When working with Rovene 4220, it is important to remember that it may be tackified, thickened and blended with other non- carboxylated and carboxylated emulsions. This flexibility allows for the formulation of a wide variety of adhesives with custom performance properties.

Rovene 4111 is a high glass transition temperature styrene-butadiene emulsion designed to provide additional opacity in inks, specifically inks formulated with titanium dioxide. Rovene 4111 was designed with a specific particle size that greatly improves the spacing between titanium dioxide particles resulting in increased opacity. Additionally, using Rovene 4111 may allow a formulator to reduce the level of titanium dioxide in an ink formulation.

Rovene 4125 is a styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer recommended for applications where a primer-sealer that provides adhesion between asphalt and other various surface treatments is needed. Rovene 4125 has been used in recreational surface applications such as tennis court and running track coatings.

Rovene 4180 is a low VOC styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer that provides the ability to compound at high solids and in multiple application areas. It is recommended for use in automobile underbody and protective coatings, landscaping mulch coatings, paper saturation, laminations, water resistance coatings, and specialty nonwoven/textile applications.

Rovene 6031 is an all acrylic latex designed for low VOC interior/exterior applications where high filler loading is required as as well as applications that required bake-ability.

Ecronova 6630 is an ambient cure all acrylic emulsion that provides good chemical and blocking resistance, high hardness and scratch resistance as well as good wetting of wooden substrates especially for furniture and industrial coatings. This emulsion is OH-functional (1.8%) and can function both as a one or two component system and is APE free.

Rovene 6121 is a low glass transition temperature styrene-acrylic polymer that offers flexibility during movement of the substrate and water resistance. Rovene 6121 also exhibits excellent tensile strength and maintains elongation properties when compounded with fillers.

Rovene 4310 is a medium soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion designed for formulation of general purpose labels and construction adhesives. It is used in the formulation of general purpose labels and construction adhesives which provide excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates. Rovene 4310 has compatibility with a wide variety of commercial tackifier resins and has excellent filler tolerance.

Rovene 6130 is a very soft, self crosslinking, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of masking and carton sealing tape adhesives. It exhibits excellent compatibility with a wide range of dispersed tackifiers and may be combined with natural latex to give the desired balance of tack, peel and shear. Rovene 6130 had found wide use in General Purpose paper label adhesives as well as some use in investment casting.

Rovene 4813 is a very soft non-carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive adhesives. Rovene 4813 is a high gel content, hot polymerized latex designed with excellent shear stability and high tolerance for fillers and pH shock. Its soft films yield adhesives with good tack and no adhesion build for use in removables. Rovene 4813 is easily tackified and gives high peel and shear strengths in adhesives and mastics. This product is also sprayable.

Rovene 8305 is a high gel content, non-carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion recommended for flooring adhesives. These adhesives can be formulated to require exceptional uncured shear strength, pH tolerance and water resistance. Rovene 8305 can be greatly extened with oils and fillers in high solids formulations. Compatibility with commerical tackifier resins is excellent, as is filler tolerance. Dry films offer excellent water resistance, adhesion and high shear strength.

Rovene 6106 is a low viscosity but high solids letdown emulsion for paper and paper board substrates. The combination of the polymer design and high solids give inks formulated with Rovene 6106 very fast drying and excellent printability. The high solids, low viscosity, and fast drying characteristics are well suited for high speed gravure printing as well as flexographic printing.

Rovene 4076 is a medium-firm, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion recommended for use in architectural coatings and interior primers for dry wall application where low perm ratings are required. Rovene 4076 is designed to exhibit tight, continuous films providing the following performance advantages: moisture vapor barrier properties, superior cold temperature coalescence, and ASTM E-96 perm ratings of ~0.5.

Rovene 5044 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion designed for formulation of permanent label and construction adhesives. It is used in the formulation of permanent label and construction adhesives which are high in peel and tack, and thus require a minimum amount of tackifier. Rovene 5044 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of tackifiers.

Rovene 6105 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive adhesives. It can be formulated into a pressure sensitive adhesives that requires a minimum amount of tackifier. Rovene 6105 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of dispersed tackifiers.

Rovene 4305 is a styrene-butadiene emulsion polymer recommended for non-woven and textile applications that require a soft yet strong backcoating. It gives good adhesion to polyester as well as cellulosic substrates. Rovene 4305 offers outstanding water and solvent resistance especially when formulated with external crosslinkers.

Rovene 5550 is a self crosslinking carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion that as a soft, resilient hand with outstanding strength properties. This binder is specially suited for various textile and coating applications. Rovene 5550 imparts excellent water and solvent resistance, excellent tensile strength and good adhesion to a wide variety of fibers. In contrast to conventional styrene-butadiene emulsions, Rovene 5550 has a much faster cure rate. In addition, it can be easily sprayed, is mechanically stable (at pH 8.5 and greater), and is low foaming. Rovene 5550 is used as a primary binder for nonwoven and textile applications in areas such as bonding wet wipes, polishing pads, filters, and facial scrub pads.

Rovene 4423 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion designed for formulation of permanent label adhesives and flooring adhesives. This polymer emulsion allows for the formulation of permanent label adhesives which are high in peel and tack, yet require a minimum amount of tackifier. However, it provides good tack on its own, thus minimizing the amount of tackifer required. Rovene 4423 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of dispersed tackifiers. Rovene 4423 can also be blended with natural latex for high shear tape adhesives and for use in special contact adhesive applications.

Rovene 6115 is a hard, non-film forming vehicle that is neutralized with sodium hydroxide for flexographic and gravure inks and overprint varnishes primarily for use on paper and paperboard substrates. Inks formulated with this emulsion exhibit excellent ink transfer as well as exceptional resolubility on press with low odor. Inks and overprint varnishes formulated with Rovene 6115 dry fast, clean up easily on press, and can be easily formulated with graphic arts industry standard products and additives.

Rovene 6005 is a very soft acrylic, high molecular weight latex emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive permanent label adhesives. Its high molecular weight allows the formulation of permanent label adhesives which are high in peel and tack, yet require a minimum amount of tackifier. Rovene 6005 was designed to give excellent performance and compatibility with a wide variety of dispersed tackifiers. Rovene 6005’s high molecular weight also provides improved wet crock of inks printed on nonwoven and textile substrates in the Printing and Packaging market.

Rovene 97982 is a very soft acrylic suggested as a base resin in flexible packaging laminating adhesives. Rovene 97982 provides excellent clarity and UV stability, high tack and peel, and medium shear. Rovene 97982 also has good adhesion to low surface energy substrates.

Rovene® 6114 is a low glass transition temperature, acrylic polymer emulsion with improved oil & grease resistance. It is a very soft film forming vehicle that provides good gloss, excellent water and rub resistance, and non-skid properties for flexographic and gravure inks and overprint varnishes. Rovene 6114 can be used as the film forming component in overprint varnishes or as the sole vehicle for inks and overprint varnishes. Because of the low glass transition temperature, Rovene 6114 has good adhesion to treated flexible films. Inks and overprint varnishes can be formulated with graphic arts standard products and additives.

Rovene 6018 is a silanated styrene-acrylic emulsion specifically designed for formulation of construction adhesives such as ceramic tile mastics and carpet adhesives. It provides excellent wet and dry adhesion to inorganic surfaces such as glass and ceramics along with outstanding filler loading capacity for economical mastic adhesive formulations. Rovene 6090 is a functionally modified, water-based vinyl acetate copolymer latex. As a water-based release coating, Rovene 6090 is recommended as a blending component for Rovene 6091 to modify the degree of adhesive release. On its own, this fast drying, firm copolymer has excellent mechanical stability during application and provides a final coating with very tight release values. When combined with Rovene 6091, release values can be easily tailored to specific needs. Rovene 6017 is recommended for bonding nonwovens where a firm, durable binder is needed such as highloft webs, interlinings, and medical applications. Rovene 6017 provides excellent dry and wet tensile strength as well as good solvent resistance. Nonwoven webs bonded with Rovene 6017 also resist yellowing at standard processing temperatures.

Rovene 5499 is a film forming styrene-butadiene emulsion that was developed as an ink vehicle for thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) based wall coverings. More specifically it can be formulated for metallic ink vehicles. Rovene 5499 provides inks with excellent adhesion to TPO wall covering substrates and good alkaline resistance properties.

Rovene 6091 is a functionally modified vinyl acetate copolymer latex recommended for use as a water-based release coating. As a water based release coating, Rovene 6091 is recommended for use with adhesives exhibiting a high degree of tack. Rovene 6091 is recommended as a blending component for Rovene 6090 to modify the degree of adhesive release. Rovene 4150 is a medium-firm, self-crosslinking, carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion. It can be formulated into carpet and flooring mastics. This versatile polymer is also used in a variety of textile and nonwoven applications. Rovene 4150 offers finished properties of high tensile strength and good water resistance.

Rovene® 6124 is a styrene-acrylic polymer that offers a balance of strength and flexibility with excellent water resistance. Rovene® 6124 maintains excellent tensile strength when compounded with fillers.

Rovene 6020 is a soft, carboxylated stryene-acrylic copolymer emulsion. The typical films are soft and strong with good water resistance and exhibit good resistance to discoloration. Rovene 6020 has found use in coatings for awnings, boat covers, gloss overprints for fabric, and outdoor furniture upholstery.

Rovene 9410 is a very soft carboxylated styrene-butadiene emulsion specifically designed for formulation of pressure sensitive adhesives. It is used in the formulation of pressure sensitive adhesives with a wide variety of tackifiers. Rovene 9410 has a unique balance of molecular weight and styrene content, which makes it ideal for blending with natural rubber and formulation of low temperature adhesives.
