Differences Between Apple Juice and Apple Juice Concentrates
Never from Concentrate
Pressed apples
- Pressing occurs at ambient temperature and allows to keep benefit of the apple fruit and active components (enzyme, tannins, fibers.)
- Make the juice ready for fermentation without adding anything in it but taking advantage of the natural flora (yeast.) coming with the apples.
Apple juice from concentrate
- Process of removing water to concentrate the juice is usually done at high temperature.
- As a result, the high heat will kill the natural flora (yeast) and nutrients (enzyme, antioxidant for example).
- Thus, to restart the fermentation process, there will be a need to add external yeast and nutrients.
- Concentration process lowers the availability of bioactive compounds (enzyme, tannins).

This product shall be packed under conditions that meet all the requirements of the FD&C Act, The National Organic Program, under the Organic Foods Production Act of 1990, current GMPs and/or USDA sanitation regulations or other regulatory standards for sanitation and for wholesomeness as applicable. Finished product at time of delivery shall be in compliance with these same requirements. Effective Quality Assurance and pre-requisite programs along with current organic certificates must be in effect to assure process and product compliance.

Packing Requirements
The finished product shall be packaged in materials that are in conformance with the Food Drug and Cosmetics Act. Product is packaged in glass bottles with twist off/twist on plastic tamper band caps.
