Recommendations

Application

Edition, Commercial and Packaging. The substrate should be as whiter as possible in order to achieve the maximum fluorescent effect. The amount of optical brighteners in the
substrate will influence on the result. We always recommend doing preliminary adhesion tests.
Fluorescent pigments, especially the red, have a low lightfastness. This ink has not been formulated to resist high heat or UV varnishing. The fluorescent effect may be lost if
mixed with another inks, so it is very important to avoid contamination.

UV curing speed

300 m/min or 9000 sheets/hour, with a configuration of three lamps 120 W/cm.

Fountain solution

This series is adapted to several dampening systems on the market. Its effectiveness has been tested with most additives. For a perfect IPA free printing, we recommend using
Speed Water Fountain Solution

Rubbers and rollers, Cleaning

The use of rollers EPDM is recommended, as they show excellent performance with UV inks. These rollers are not suitable for conventional ink as it can be expanded into contact
with aliphatic hydrocarbons. Nitrile rubbers not experience expansion or conventional UV inks. Solvents such as glycol or acetates have a tendency to expand rubbers. This ink
can be used with most plates on the market. No need to clean the press immediately after printing. This ink does not cure in machine and therefore can be used the next day. However, the ink can start machine polymerize if exposed to sunlight or UV light lamps.
