Maruzen Petrochemical MARUKASOL 8 is used in painting products, aerosol and metal cleaning products.

Maruzen Petrochemical TBA is a highly pure product obtained by hydrating isobutylene. It is used as raw material for pharmaceuticals and agricultural chemicals and as a special solvent or the like.

Maruzen Petrochemical DES is a colorless, corrosive, oily liquid that darkens with age and has a faint peppermint odor. Diethyl sulfate is mainly used as an ethylating agent in organic synthesis and in the dye and textile manufacturing. Exposure to this substance results in severe irritation to the eyes, skin and respiratory tract. It is a possible mutagen and is reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen based on evidence of carcinogenicity in experimental animals and may be associated with developing laryngeal cancer. Maruzen Petrochemical DIB is a C8 olefin obtained by dimerizing the isobutylene in Fraction C4. It can be used to produce a number of useufl derivatives through an addition, oxo reaction and the like. It is used as a basic raw material for alkylphenol, isononalic acid, rubber chemical, etc.

Maruzen Petrochemical 2-Hydroxyethyl Vinyl ether is used as reactive diluent of UV-curing-coating, raw material of polymer and oligomer (by radical copolymerization and cationic polymerization), washing agent, or raw material of chemicals.

Maruzen Petrochemical H-BPA is a dialchol with a cycloalyphatic structure, obtained by dehydrogenating bisphenol A. It is used as a raw material for various engineering plastics and paints, with its good chemical stability derived from no unsaturated bond in the structure.

Maruzen Petrochemical SBA is applied as a raw material for chemicals, a paint solvent, etc.

Maruzen Petrochemical Diethylenglyol Mono Vinyl ether is used as reactive diluent of UV-curing-coating, raw material of polymer and oligomer (by radical copolymerization and cationic polymerization), washing agent, or raw material of chemicals.

Maruzen Petrochemical SWASOLVE ETB is mainly used as a solvent for paints, which can be also used as a high-boiling point solvent for synthetic resin enamel lacquer, as a thinner for bake-coating, and as a whitening preventive or a fluidity regulator for lacquer, varnish and the like. It is the most applicable high boiling-point solvent for an aqueous paint, because of the suitability of water.

Maruzen Petrochemical POP is a highly pure product made of in-house prepared isobutylene (DIB). It has a variety of applications, such as raw material for various synthetic chemicals, for an oil-soluble phenol resin and for a surfactant active agent, including many other uses.

Maruzen Petrochemical MEK is used for a paint solvent, printing ink, bonding agent, etc.

Maruzen Petrochemical HDCP is produced by dimerizing and refining cyclopentadiene in Fraction C5 through our unique process. With impurities minimized as far as practicable, it is especially applicable as raw material for special resins and synthetic chemicals.
