- It does not seal cracks, fractures or fissures in the masonry surface, it is required to patch with the appropriate product for each situation.
- Do not apply the product when there is a high probability of rain.
- Applications
Apply it on any type of surface, ideal as a leak cover or to solve humidity problems, it can be used with a reinforcing membrane. For do-it-yourself uses.
- Recommendations
The surface must be dry and free of any grease, wax or contaminant. Wash the complete equipment (pump, hose, gun, filter, nozzle) and accessories used with clean water in the application as soon as possible. It is necessary to repair the cracks and fissures that the surface presents in advance with Plastic Cement, making sure that its curing is complete before starting the waterproofing. Keep the container tightly closed, in cool places and out of reach of children.
- Application System
Masonry in General (concrete block, smooth, semi-rough, rough masonry, cement board, brick fiber cement, etc.)
- Clean the surface of dust, grease, old or poorly adhered waterproofing
- Level the surface in such a way that there is no possibility of water puddles, remove poorly adhered construction material.
- Make repairs of the surface where there are cracks and fissures with the Plastic Cement. Making sure to take care of each of the recommendations that appear in its corresponding Technical Sheet.
- Make sure that the surface is dry, clean and free of dust, grease and any material that causes adhesion problems for the product.
- Check the airing of the surface before applying the second. For the verification of the airing, it is done by touch and it is estimated that it can be from 2 to 3 hours.
- Apply the second cross coat, that is, perpendicular to the first coat and in the direction of the surface current level.
- Wash the equipment and accessories used in the application with clean water until there is no paint present in order to use it in subsequent works.
- Do not step on or place objects on the coated surface for at least 48 hours.
