- Protects bones in all three stages of life: Growth stage to activate bone development, maturity stage to keep strong bones, and old age to slow down resorption.
- Enable calcium to properly deposit to bone cells.
- Clinically Researched Benefits
- Reduced total bone loss from the aging process, particularly in the lower extremities
- Reduced resorption of the bone that was associated with moderate-intensity/duration exercise
- Effective in increasing BMD which is primarily mediated through the promotion of bone formation and inhibition of bone resorption
- Can be considered a nutritional component of increasing peak bone mass in women
- Maintains the balance of bone remodeling

Technical Details & Test Data
- Clinical Study of MBP®
Human study 1: MBP increases radial BMD (bone mineral density) in healthy women.
We studied the effects of daily intake of MBPM on BMD in 33 healthy adult women (from twenties to fifties). The mean of BMD at the distal end of the radius increased by 3% in the MBPM group after 6 months of ingesting 40 mg of MBPT a day.Effect of MBP on Bone Mineral Density
- Mechanism of Action
Human clinical research has shown that MBP maintains normal bone metabolism and structure. It works by:
- Encouraging healthy bone remodeling.MBP increases the number of osteoblasts (cells that build bone) and inhibits the activity of osteoclasts (cells that break down bone).
- Promoting collagen formation. Calcium is needed for bone strength, but without collagen, it has no place to attach to the bones. By increasing collagen production, MBP helps calcium adhere to bone.
Safety & Health
- Safety
MBP is a natural ingredient derived from milk. MBP is FDA GRAS and FOSHU-certified by the Consumer Affairs Agency, Government of Japan. Because MBP may contain trace amount of lactose, caution should be exercised if you are lactose intolerant.
