MEDXTRACT SPIRULINA 1:2 possesses mainly nourishing, mineralizing and emollient properties and is widely used in cosmetics and personal care formulations, at concentrations ranging from 1 to 10%.Spirulina Maxima belongs to the botanical family of Cyanophyceae and consists of free-floating filamentous cyanobacteria characterized by cylindrical, multicellular trichomes in an open Left-hand helix. Spirulina Maxima occurs naturally in Central America lakes with high pH and high concentrations of carbonate and bicarbonate.
