Installation Guidelines

The surface to be coated must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease, dirt and foreign residue. Use PC 31-300 as supplied. It is applied to primed sanded surface. The material temperature should be 15 °C but not more than 25 °C. Mix the material with materials mono-grain sieve curve (as silica sand, quartz stones, etc). Smooth the surface with a trowel. The mixing ratio of the binder to the filling material depends on the environmental conditions. We recommend to use 5 – 8 % binder depending on the grain size and sieve curve. The mixture should not be too wet, otherwise a concentration of the binder at the bottom may occur and lead to foaming and reduced adhesion to the substrate.
Cure Time
The cure time varies with temperature and humidity. High temperatures and high humidity will decrease cure time while low temperatures and low humidity will increase it.
