MERICAT™ technology from Merichem® has been successfully used in gasoline/naphtha, condensate and crude oil streams for the sweetening of mercaptan compounds. With our proprietary FIBER FILM® Contactor as the mass transfer device, MERICAT™ uses caustic/catalyst/air as treating reagents.

Merichem Chems &amp; Refinery Ser-vices Sodium Hydrosulfide (NaHS) is commonly used to salt cake or emulsified sulfur for sulfidity control in Kraft pulp mills. It is available in lower concentrations (from 15 to 25 percent).
