General Information

Aquadraft E is a useful premix of drift reduction technology and water conditioning agents that protects the performance potential of 2,4-D, glyphosate and associated premixes or tank mixes from antagonistic hard water while also reducing drift risk.

Applications & Uses

Directions for Use

AQUADRAFT™ E should be used at a rate of 2 quarts per 100 gallons of spray volume. The addition of adjuvants to some pesticides and/or fertilizers and their tank mixes may cause phytotoxicity to desirable crops. Before using AQUADRAFT™ E, the applicator or crop advisor must have experience with the pesticide combination, including AQUADRAFT™ E, or must have conducted a phytotoxicity test.

Use Rates
  • 1–2 quarts (0.25–0.5% v/v) of Aquadraft E per 100 gallons of spray solution.
Mixing

In the absence of specific mixing instructions found on the pesticide label, fill the spray tank with at least 50% of the desired finished carrier volume. When premixing in a mixing vessel or inductor, fill with at least 20% of the desired finished carrier volume. While the carrier is agitating, add tank mix ingredients in the following order:

  1. Compatibility agent and/or antifoam, if needed
  2. AMS, dry formulations (WP, DF, WDG, SP), and dry drift retardants
  3. Dry soluble and suspension fertilizers / micronutrients
  4. Liquid drift retardants and flowable formulations (F & FL)
  5. Liquid concentrates, suspension concentrates, microencapsulated and capsule suspension (LC, SC, ME, CS)
  6. Emulsifiable concentrates (E, EL or EC)
  7. Solutions and soluble liquids (S or SL)
  8. Liquid micronutrients and fertilizers i.Water conditioners and other adjuvants (COC, HSOC, MSO, NIS)
  9. Finish filling to desired spray volume level and continue agitation

Precautionary Statements

Causes skin and eye irritation. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Read label before use. Wash protective equipment and work clothes thoroughly after handling. Storage & Handling

Storage and Disposal

This product must be stored above 32oF (0oC). Failure to do so may cause damage. Keep containers sealed when not in use. Store in original container only. Triple rinse (or equivalent) during mixing and loading. Recycling decontaminated containers is the best option of container disposal. The Agricultural Container Recycling Council (ACRC) operates the national recycling program. To contact your state and local ACRC recycler visit the ACRC web page at www.acrecycle.org. Decontaminated containers and materials must be disposed of in a manner allowed by local, state and federal laws and regulations.
