MG Natura Peru Copaiba

MG Natura Peru Copaiba are considerably branched trees that grow up to 30 meters in height. They produce small, white flowers and pods that contain 2 to 4 seeds inside. Several species are used as traditional medicine, especially for skin disorders or insect bites thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties. A single copaiba tree can produce about 40 liters of oleoresin per year, so it can be considered as a sustainable resource that can be harvested without destroying the tree or the forest in which it grows.

At the beginning of the oleoresin collection, it is clear, thin and colorless; that, on contact with air, darkens and thickens. Thick, clear resins are commercially available, with a color ranging from pale yellow to golden or light brown
