MICOROX® HTX SEALER is a two component 100% solids epoxy sealer designed to offer outstanding chemical resistance.

HTX is used to enhance the chemical resistance and increase cleanability of MICOROX® FLOORING SYSTEMS and as a stand alone floor coating for extreme chemical service. On concrete surfaces we recommend using a good penetrating primer such as:
- MICOROX® 103 PRIMER: a two component deep penetrating water reducible epoxy primer.
- Waterproofing: Where waterproofing membrane is required use MICORTHANE™ 6-75P ELASTOMERIC PRIMER per application instructions.

Containment Areas, Floors, Trenches, Pits. Pump Pads, Sumps, Stock Chests, Wastewater Vessels, etc.
- Surface Preparation
- When used as a topcoat for MICOROX® FLOORING SYSTEMS: Grind the surface with medium stones and vacuum to remove resulting dust.
- When applied as a concrete coating: The surface to be coated must be sound and free of dirt, grease, oil, old coatings. Substrate must be exposed by acid etch or mechanical means.
- Application
- HTX SEALER is extremely easy to install and may be applied by contractors or plant personnel.
- On concrete surfaces MICOROX® 103 makes an excellent primer. Apply the primer in a thin even film. Consult the primer data sheets for mixing instructions.
- Mix HTX SEALER by combining one premeasured container of resin with one premeasured container of hardener. thoroughly with a drill-stirrer. components to disperse any settled fillers or pigments. approximately two minutes. No induction time is required. The material may be applied immediately.
- Mix Premix Materials should be mixed for Apply the material by squeegee, roller or brush. Apply in a even 10-20 mils thickness. If a second coat is being applied, timing is important. Allow the first coat to cure for 12 hours. If the second coat cannot be applied within 48 hours., the surface must be sanded before recoating.
- Temperature Limitations
During the installation and cure of HTX Sealer surface temperatures of 60° F- 90°F. are recommended.

HTX SEALER is ready for foot traffic in 12 hours and ready for light wheeled traffic in 24 hours at 77°F. Complete cure may require 24 to 72 hours depending on temperature.

Contact with liquids Part A and B can cause irritation. Wear protective clothing. Cover hands with protective cream and/or gloves. Wear chemical splash goggles. Use only with adequate ventilation.
