Located East of Manchester in the UK, Micropol is a long established company providing a comprehensive service to the plastics industry for over 50 years. We pride ourselves in working closely with our customers to adapt materials to specific needs, while developing new grades of material through partnerships with customers old and new on a global basis. Production of rotational molding powders was established on-site in the early 1970's, providing a service to our own rotational molding sister company, before expanding the manufacturing entity to extend the service to the industry in general. To this day these facilities, combined with our advanced technical laboratory, give us the edge in development by enabling us to use our own range of molding machines with a range of proprietary tools to ensure that the quality of the products is right before leaving the premises. With our commitment not to substitute any substandard imitation grades, we continue to supply rotational molding materials based on the best prime polymers available. To add to our range of rotational molding products, Microlink technology is constantly being developed to add extra toughness, durability and chemical resistance to conventional rotational molding materials.

Microlink XL is a crosslinkable polyethylene is a material that is produced from standard polyethylene by a chemical process which allows the molder to produce, on conventional rotational molding equipment, finished products with much improved performance properties.

Micropol L7 is a rotational molding powder based on a conventional polyethylene formulation designed to produce moldings with a high gloss finish and outstanding toughness. This material has been established for many years as an outstanding low density polyethylene powder for Rotational Molding.

Microlin XL28/XUV/FR is a chemically crosslinkable, Flame Retardant Polyethylene, which allows production on conventional rotational molding equipment, of finished products with much improved performance properties. Properties enhanced include toughness (particularly low-temperature impact performance), environmental stress crack resistance, and chemical and temperature resistance.

Microlin HL29 is a tough ‘new generation’ Hexene Linear High Density rotational molding powder designed to produce moldings of extremely high rigidity combined with high impact strength, particularly at low temperatures.The polymer and powder flow properties of HL29 have been designed to give good mouldability over a wide processing window, particularly for more demanding rotational molding applications such as Kayaks, Canoes and Marine Leisure Craft.

Microlin ML73 is a new generation easy flow hexane linear rotational molding powder base designed to produce moldings of good rigidity combined with high impact strength at low temperatures. Also featured is excellent environmental stress crack resistance.

Microstat ML54/FR powder is designed to reduce the hazards and problems that the generation of static electricity can cause during the handling of conventional polyethylene containers. Typical static problems are dust and particle attraction, fire and explosion risks, personnel shocks and damage to sensitive electronic components stored within the container. This grade also contains a Flame Retardant additive.

Isoplas P381 – this flexible grade has been developed for use in under-floor heating pipes.

Micropol Microcoat H6 is a micro-ground High Density Polyethylene powder. This grade gives maximum processing efficiency and covering power when used for fluidised bed dip-coating, and has been developed for more demanding applications where improved hardness, chemical and heat resistance are required. Microcoat H6 is available ex-stock in Natural, Black and White. All our materials can be color matched to your specification.
