Founded in 1980, MIFAR Srl is a chemical company specializing in the production, research and development of preparations of solid pigments pre-dispersed ""chips"" intended for producers of inks, paints and coatings as well as producers of biodegradable packaging and products in the cosmetic sector. Since 1999 MIFAR has been part of the Tennant Group, a multinational manufacturing and processing product for the chemical industry. The offices of MIFAR Srl are located in the center of the city of Milan, the production site instead extends over an industrial area of ​​10,000 square meters in Rescaldina, in the north-west province of the city of Milan, and represents the most recent plant of ' chips' in Europe. With a production capacity of mono-pigmented solid dispersions more than doubled in the last six years, MIFAR acquired a 50-ton nitrocellulose storage bunker in 2014. The site operates in safe HSE conditions, with BAT installations and permits, including NC storage, sprinklers and water reservoir, VOC combustor."
