General Information: Mica is a natural mineral used as a cosmetic powder that aids in the spreading
of cosmetics. Due to its reflective properties, mica enhances a softer and more
youthful look when used in cosmetic formulations. In its native form, Mica
resembles metal in thin rock sheets or flakes, with an iridescent, pearly luster.
While Mica typically displays a gray to brown color characteristic, Miyoshi’s
Mica CM-10 exhibits a white color when dry, and off-white when wet with
mineral oil. Miyoshi is able to offer Mica CM-10*, both untreated and surface treated, with a variety of our innovative surface treatments including our patented, silky-smooth Dimethicone (SA) treatment for a luxurious feel.
