SF96® 50 silicone fluids are polydimethylsiloxanes ranging from low to medium viscosity. They are available in 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 350, 500 and 1000 centistokes at 25C (77F). As viscosity increases, they become substantive emollients and have different sensory profiles especially in absorbency, spreadability, smoothness, oiliness and tackiness parameters. Higher viscosity dimethicones have a greater perception of absorbency, smoothness and tackiness, but a lower perception of spreadability and oiliness.

SilShine™ 151 Gloss Additive is a silicone film former that delivers visually perceivable high shine to lips and hair. It offers high refractive index, non-volatility, non-migration and organic compatibility. Its silicone resin structure gives excellent film forming properties. The phenyl functionality of this product provides compatibility with organic emollients without sacrificing compatibility with silicones.

Momentive Performance Materials SS4230 Silicone Resin is a clear, silicone MQ resin (trimethylsiloxysilicate) in D5 (SF1202). It may be an effective film former, providing long lasting benefits. This product helps to deliver volume and body in hair care products, and dramatic improvement in substantivity. It is a blend of silicone resin and cyclopentasiloxane.

Momentive Performance Materials SE30 Conditioning Agent, a high molecular weight linear dimethicone gum, is an excellent candidate to consider for use as a conditioning agent for skin and hair. It can also help enhance transfer resistance in color cosmetics through its synergistic effect with silicone resins. The addition of Silsoft SE30 conditioning agent to a soap bar can promote similar properties to those of a syndet bar by increasing the creaminess and amount of lather.

Silsoft™ 8812 is a blend of a high molecular weight dimethiconol silicone polymer and a low viscosity silicone fluid. The low viscosity silicone fluid acts as a carrier, spreading the high molecular weight silicone uniformly across a surface. This product offers a number of performance attributes for personal care products, especially a unique smooth, long lasting, non-greasy feel.

Momentive Performance Materials SR1000 Silicone Resin are silicone resin products. These highly durable materials provide excellent water repellency and resistance to detergent wash off. The resins are available in three different forms to offer formulation flexibility.
