Mosselman D-Limonene (5989-27-5) is an essential oil obtained by distillation of the orange peel molasses. It has a characteristic aroma of orange and is used as a solvent in paints and also as a degreasing agent in detergents.

Mosselman PEG 6000 Flakes (25322-68-3) Polyethylene glycols are water-soluble polymers of the polyether alcohol types. They are used as plasticizer, humectant, lubricant, dispersing agent, solubilizer and mold-release agent.

Mosselman Castor Oil Hydrogenated (8001-78-3) is a white, odorless fat obtained by the hydrogenation of castor oil. It has very good compatibility with natural waxes. It is mostly used in the manufacture of calcium and lithium lubricating greases. These lubricating greases exhibit excellent resistance to oils and fats, water and solvents. It is also used as raw materi-al for solvent based coating systems, for alkyd resins and as processing aid for phenolic resins, poly-ethylene, PVC and rubber and as an additive in powder coatings. It is also of importance concerning the production of hot melts like paper additives. Finally it can be used as an ingredient in polishes (for cars, shoes, furniture) and in cosmetics (for creams, lipsticks,…).

Mosselman Pelargonic Acid (112-05-0) is a linear, saturated synthetic carboxylic acid with a chain length of 9 carbons. It is a clear liquid which is mostly used as a raw material for further esterification.

Mosselman PEG 600 Monooleate N (9004-96-0) Polyethyleneglycol esters are the products obtained by the esterification of polyethyleneglycols with natural fatty acids. Depending the molecular weight of the polyethyleneglycol used and the mono- and diesters content, non-ionic esters with different HLB values are obtained. Polyethyleneglycol esters are mainly used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsions. They find also application in cosmetics, lubricants, textiles, pesticides etc.

Mosselman Capryl Alcohol 98 (111-87-5) octyl alcohol (1-Octanol) is a primary fatty alcohol obtained by hydrogenation of its fatty methylester.

Mosselman Linseed Oil Virgin EP 10 (8001-26-1) is clear yellow or brownish-yellow liquid, on exposure to air turning dark and gradually thickening. When cooled, it becomes a soft mass at about -20°C.

Mosselman Castor Oil First Pression (8001-79-4) is the vegetable oil obtained from the seed of the castor tree “Ricinus communis” It contains a major amount of hydroxy acid.

Mosselman Heliwet FA 11/8 90% (78330-20-8) are non-ionic surfactants obtained by the ethoxylation of fatty alcohols with a chain length of iso-C11.

Mosselman Tall Oil Fatty Acids 130 (61790-12-3) is a by-product in the production of wood pulp by the Kraft process. The “black liquor” which is obtained in the processing of the wood pulp contains the sodium soap of the tall oil fatty acids and resin acids. By acidification a mixture of fatty acids and resin acids is obtained. By further distillation the fatty acids and the resin acids are separated.
